Day 2 - Vicki's Birthday

Today was pretty uneventful for me. It was a no treatment day but rather an opportunity to see how I recovered from my initial Chemotherapy treatment administered yesterday.
I didn’t seem to be suffering any after effects, so decided I’d go for a run in the morning before it got too hot and before Vicki woke up.
I put in the ear buds and ran 5km at a leisurely 5.20/km pace. No ill effects and relaxed back home before doing some chores around the house and then having brekky, a shower, my M&T Routine and getting some work done.
It was Vicki’s birthday so a chance to put my mind to doing something for her. I’m a crappy cook, but I made dinner that night. Corned beef, steamed vegies. Vicki made cheese sauce because I’m not big on the stuff.
I felt really normal. All up, a day like any other prior to diagnosis.
